Description:

Spend the day at one of the Smithsonian museums or venture onto the mall to explore the annual folk life festival. This year’s theme focuses on The Basque Country, a region that spans borders. Located in northern Spain and southwestern France, it straddles the Pyrenees Mountains. Learn about the culture and taste new culinary treats. Lunch on your own at the festival or museum cafeterias.

July 21 (Thurs.) Million Dollar Quartet at Infinity Theater, Annapolis

Description:

This trip was opened for registration on April 18th in order to meet contractual obligations. The Tony Award winning musical, Million Dollar Quartet, is set on Dec. 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever! Enjoy a buffet lunch first at Broadneck Grill.
