October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
In honor of Domestic Violence Month, each October the Bowie Police Department, in conjunction with the Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Office and other municipalities, lights up the front of the City’s Police Department with purple light to raise awareness about the problem of domestic violence in our communities. For more information, contact the Bowie Police Department at 240-544-5700 or visit the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence website.
