Bowie BIC - Bowie's Incubator

The executive director of the City's business incubator, the Bowie Business Innovation Center, located at Bowie State University, will provide Council with an update on the incubator

City Lobbyist Report

The City Lobbyists will update Council on results from General Assembly
C.

Medical Cannabis Dispensary (CB-47-2017)

The City Council will consider making a recommendation on pending County legislation to allow a medical cannabis dispensary as a permitted use in the Major Activity Center (M-A-C) zone. The Bowie New Town Center is zoned M-A-C, and a company has proposed the use at 4201 Northview Drive – Public Hearing/Eligible for Action

Statutory Authority to Close Session, General Provisions Article, §3-305(b)(1): To discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; or any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals; and §3-305(b)(7): To consult with counsel to obtain legal advice on a legal matter.
