  1. Early Voting for the General Election at Bowie Community Center

    October 23 - October 30 @ Bowie Community Center

    Early Voting Early voting for the November 4 General Election begins Thursday, October 23rd and runs through Thursday, October 30th between the hours of 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Voting will take place at Bowie Community Center, located at 3209 Stonybrook Drive. Voters may request to receive an absentee ballot by mail, or by fax. Visit to request an absentee ballot. The deadline to request a mailed or faxed absentee ballot is Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Voters who normally vote at Tulip Grove Elementary should note that their polling place has been moved to Tulip Grove at Meadowbrook (3501 Moylan Drive) due to renovation work at the school site on Trainor Lane.

  2. Octoberfest at the Bowie Farmer's Market

    October 26, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ 15200 Annapolis Road

    FREE Scarecrow Making. (Participants need to supply a long sleeve shirt and trousers) FREE Pumpkin Painting (Pumpkins not supplied, but available for purchase at market) Activities start at 10 a.m.

  3. Halloween Trick or Treating

    October 31, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

    Halloween is Friday, October 31st. The suggested hours for trick or treating are 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. The Bowie Police Department reminds trick or treaters and their parents to carry a flashlight, be mindful of traffic, and check all treats carefully. If you are on the roads on Halloween, please drive carefully and watch out for ghosts and goblins and other costumed critters.
