Photography Contest

As a way of encouraging students to become more involved in art, the City of Bowie Arts Committee sponsors a yearly contest. A new theme is chosen every year. Notice about the contests are sent to area schools and newspapers, and flyers are available at City Hall.

The contests are for students age 6 - 18. All students living within the municipal limits of Bowie or attending a school in Bowie* are encouraged to enter.

*Eligible schools include: Bowie and Tall Oaks High Schools, Benjamin Tasker Middle School, Samuel Ogle Middle School, St. Pius X, Grace Christian, Cornerstone Christian Academy and Holy Trinity (lower campus), Heather Hills, High Bridge, Kenilworth, Northview, Pointer Ridge, Samuel Ogle, Rockledge, Tulip Grove and Yorktown Elementary Schools, Chapel Forge and C. Elizabeth Rieg Special Centers.
