Mission of Board

To conduct fair and successful elections.

Description

The Board of Elections supervises the registration of voters, nominations for office, and all City elections.  The Board may appoint election judges or other employees to assist in its duties.  The City Clerk serves as liaison to the Board and carries out the administrative duties of the Board as outlined in the City Code.

Elections are held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November in odd numbered years. The next City election is on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.
