Diversity Committee
International Festival

Each fall the International Festival has been held on the first Saturday in October at Allen Pond Park. The festival, which grows larger each year, includes performances of music and dance, foods, games and children’s activities from around the world.

This event is a joint effort of the Arts and Diversity Committees and many individual volunteers.

Diversity Committee members participate in planning the event and selecting the entertainment. On the day of the festival, they run a Diversity Committee booth where children can complete an activity or craft from another country or culture. At the booth, participants can also collect their "passport" for the day's events and decorate a "suitcase".
