Diversity Committee Martin Luther King, Jr. Program and Contest

Each year the Diversity Committee plans a contest and program to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The contest is for school-aged children and is centered around a theme that represents an aspect of Dr. King's work. The intent of the contest is to provide an opportunity for students to become better acquainted with Dr. King's efforts and to relate what he did to their daily lives in some way.

The program honors Dr. King and features the work of the contest finalists. It takes place in January near the anniversary of Dr. King's birthday.
