Grants for Education

The City of Bowie Education Committee awards grants and scholarships to support education for Bowie children.

“Grants for Education” of amounts ranging from $100 - $1,000 are awarded to teachers, parent groups and other interested individuals from eligible community schools who have new and creative ideas for projects and programs that will enrich students' learning experiences.

Applications for the Grants Program are available toward the end of the school year and again at the beginning of each school year, with an application deadline in October.
