The City of Bowie is examining ways to improve two of its most popular parks.

Allen Pond Park
After receiving input from the community, a consultant has proposed a plan to rehabilitate and improve Allen Pond Park. See more information about what's planned at the following link: Allen Pond Master Plan

Whitemarsh Park
A similar effort has begun for Whitemarsh Park. Lardner/Klein, Landscape Architects was recently awarded a contract to develop a master plan for Whitemarsh Park.  After a series of community meetings, the firm will offer a plan for enhancing Whitemarsh Park. Details about the progress of this project will be posted on the Whitemarsh Master Plan page of this site.
