Animal Control

The Prince George's County Animal Management Facility is located at 3750 Brown Station Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.

The facility houses animals that have been picked up throughout the County. County officials post pictures of the animals they have in residence on a national pet locator website called Pet Harbor.

This $11 million dollar state-of-the-art facility opened in July 2009 It can accommodate 450 cats and dogs.  In addition, the facility has an exotic animal room, a spay/neuter clinic, a puppy and kitten nursery, interaction rooms, an isolation/quarantine room and a reflection room providing pet owners with a quiet place for bereavement immediately following the euthanasia of their beloved animal.
