Bowie Prevention Network
Mission
The Bowie Prevention Network is dedicated to building a healthy community through prevention, interaction, and education.
This organization involves many facets of the greater Bowie community. The program was developed for individuals to meet and shape projects, and share ideas about how our community can best meet the needs of our youth. This is an evolving group and all community members, including parents, business representatives, civic organizations, schools, religious leaders, and public officials are encouraged to participate. Youth participation is actively encouraged.
Citizens of all ages are invited to take part in the Bowie Prevention Network. We can use your help in a variety of ways. Call Andra Berry at 301-809-3080 or email for more information on how you can help with this valuable initiative.
The Teen Mentoring Program is an initiative of the Bowie Prevention Network in collaboration with Bowie High School. Mentors are needed and encouraged to apply. If you have a commitment to the continued growth and positive development of our youth, you are encouraged to apply.
