Teen Job Bank
As a public service and in an effort to encourage teen employment, Bowie Youth & Family Services compiles a directory of jobs and services offered by teens ages 13 through 18, living in the City of Bowie. Residents living within the corporate limits of the City of Bowie are encouraged to contact a teen for jobs such as yard work, snow shoveling, babysitting, computer work, housecleaning, etc. Teens are encouraged to submit a Job Bank application. We provide Bowie residents with names of youth who are willing to work for them.
If you are a resident wishing to hire a teen, please complete the attached work request form and mail it to BYFS at 2614 Kenhill Drive, Room 114, Bowie, MD 20715. You will be mailed or emailed a list of approximately 4 names of youth that are interested in the type of work you need. It is between you and the teen to negotiate fees and any other parameters of the work that you wish to have completed. Your waiver will be kept in our office in the event you may wish to contact other teens.
If you are a teen wishing to work for residents, please complete the attached Job Bank application, sign the teen waiver form and have your parent sign the parent waiver form. Send them to Bowie Youth & Family Services at 2614 Kenhill Drive, Room 114, Bowie, MD, 20715.
The residents who use the Job Bank services and the participating teens will be contacted for feedback on the services used and whether or not they wish their name to remain on the list. For information by telephone call 301.809.3033. To email Teen Job Bank use TeenJobBank@cityofbowie.org.
** Important Note: The City of Bowie must emphasize that the City of Bowie cannot be responsible for the conduct of any person providing services to you, including any personal injury or property damage you might sustain as a consequence of such conduct.
