Disposing of Hazardous Waste

Hazardous waste is not collected at curbside. It may be taken to the Prince George's County Brown Station Landfill in Upper Marlboro. Hazardous waste and electronics are accepted from Thursday thru Saturday from 7:30 am to 3:30 p.m.

In November of 2007 and 2008, the City of Bowie and Prince George's County sponsored a free hazardous materials collection event at the Bowie Baysox Stadium. Look for announcements about a similar event in 2009.
