Hazardous waste is not collected at curbside. Hazardous waste and electronics are accepted from Thursday thru Saturday at the Household Hazardous Waste Acceptance Site in Upper Marlboro.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The site, which is located at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill, is open and free of charge to County citizens and residents who need to dispose of harmful household waste. Non-commercial vehicles only
The Recycling Team also hosts special collection events in various communities throughout the County several times per year. These targeted events are designed to be an added convenience to County residents, especially those who may not be able to visit the drop-off facility.
