Bowie Senior Center
The City of Bowie has a dynamic and all encompassing Senior Center that reflects the heart of the members. Adults age 55 + are welcome to participate.
The Nationally Accredited Center offers opportunities for social, educational, creative, recreational, and physical programs. Information and Referral Services, Transportation Services, and a congregate and home delivered lunch program are available. The Center promotes a wellness theme of “A Healthy Body, Mind and Spirit”.
Activities range from an outside game of Bocce Ball to Bowling on the Nintendo Wii, from Armchair Travelogues to Aerobic Dancing, from Foreign Languages to American Literature, from singing with the 100 voice Senior Chorale to quiet meditation on the outside Labyrinth . . . there is something for everyone.
Friendships are made, new interests are discovered, skills are sharpened, learning is expanding minds, talents are enjoyed, meals are shared, and special occasions are celebrated.
