Whitemarsh Park
Whitemarsh Park - (100 Whitemarsh Park Drive) is a 182-acre multi-use park which includes the Bowie Playhouse, 4 lighted ballfields (1 football game-only field, 1 multi-use practice field, 1 combo field and 1 adult softball field), picnic areas and pavilions, a campfire circle, hiking and biking trails and a playground. - Athletic field usage at Whitemarsh Park is by permit only.
- There are 4 primitive hiking trails within the wooded area of the park.
- The Discovery Nature Trail offers a self-guided nature walk. The trailhead is adjacent to the Picnic Pavilion II.
- There is approximately 1.5 miles of improved trail that is accessible by wheelchair and bicycle which traverse the park.
- Open areas may be used for free play activities such as frisbee, children's games, etc. A basketball court is located on the east side of the park adjacent to the baseball field.
- There is a children's playground adjacent to the Picnic Pavilion II.
- Portable toilets are located by the ballfields and by the Picnic Pavilion
