CITY OF BOWIE, MARYLAND

SALUTE TO AMERICA  CONCERT

The City of Bowie’s Sunday Sunset Concert Series at the Robert V. Setera Amphitheater in Allen Pond Park will conclude with a very special concert on Sunday, September 5, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The special concert, titled Salute to America and featuring the United States Naval Academy Concert Band, will honor and salute the members of the Armed Forces, past and present, who protect our freedom each day of the year. It is also a remembrance of those who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Bring your flags, candles, friends and family to the park for this patriotic evening.  All attendees are encouraged to dress in red, white and blue, or wear military attire, if appropriate.  For more information please, contact Matt Corley, Special Events Coordinator at 301-809-3078 or email mcorley@ cityofbowie.org
