The City Hall Gallery’s exhibit for the month of January is the photography of Harmony Haft. Haft, a Bowie native, has been exploring the world of photography since 2003. She uses her photography to promote and support humanitarianism.

Her exhibit reflects her travels to such countries as Israel, Japan, Jamaica, Peru, and the Philippines. Haft, a student at the University of Maryland, is taking a year off from college to focus on her photography. She has exhibited her work in Washington, D.C., and in Maryland.

The gallery is located in the hallways of City Hall, 2614 Kenhill Drive, and is open to the public City Hall hours from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to noon.on Saturdays. Besides the City Hall Gallery, the city of Bowie provides three other galleries at City Hall to showcase the work of local artists.
