Bowie Youth Chorus Registration Ends Soon

Registration for the Spring 2011 Bowie Youth Chorus will end February 23, 2011. All interested Bowie youth, grades 5 through 9, are invited to join or re-join the chorus. Rehearsals are Wednesday afternoons from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Bowie City Hall, 2614 Kenhill Drive.

The registration fee is $50 for Bowie residents and $55 for youth who attend Bowie schools, but do not live in Bowie. For students new to the program, there will be a $100 costume fee for uniforms.

Youth can register three ways- at the Wednesday rehearsals in February, in person at the Department of Community Services, Monday through Friday between 8:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. or by downloading an application and mailing the fee and completed registration form to Bowie City Hall, Attention: Annette Esterheld, Arts Specialist, 2614 Kenhill Drive, Bowie, MD 20715.
