City of Bowie 2011 Excellence in Education Scholarship Winners
The City of Bowie offers scholarships for graduating high school students who are Bowie residents.
This year four scholarship recipients were honored at a City Council Meeting and Reception held on May 2nd. Each student received a $1,250 scholarship.
The students selected were:
- Susannah Betts who is graduating from Bowie High School.Susannah plans to attend Wesleyan University in Connecticut where she will major in Physics.
- Kathryn Busch who is graduating from Elizabeth Seton High School.Kathyrn plans to attend St. John's University in New York where she will major in Theology.
- Catherine Hamel who is graduating from Elizabeth Seton High School.Catherine plans to attend the University of Maryland where she will major in Engineering.
- Erin St. Germain who is graduating from Bowie High School.Erin plans to attend the University of Maryland where she will major in Kinesiology.
Congratulations to all of the 2011 City of Bowie Excellence in Education scholarship winners.
