Bowie Spotlight

The City's newsletter, the Bowie Spotlight is usually published bi-monthly in the months of January, March, May, July, September, and December. Sometimes the need to publish timely information about City events, such as the City election, will alter this publication schedule slightly.

The Bowie Spotlight is published by the Public Information Office of the City Manager's Office. Due to space considerations, it does not usually contain information about community events sponsored by organizations other than the City of Bowie.

The newsletter is posted on this website. To sign up to receive notification when the new issue is available, register with Alert Bowie and select just Bowie Spotlight or as many of the categories as you wish. In addition to the electronic format, sufficient copies of the newsletter will be printed for distribution to the senior housing communities in the City, as well as to the Senior Center, City Hall, Kenhill Center, the City Gym and the Bowie Branch of the Prince George's County Public Library. In City election years, a special edition of the newsletter will be mailed to each household prior to the election.
