Publications and Reports
The City of Bowie produces three newsletters and a large number of reports and publications. Some, such as the Development Sites Outline and the State of the City Report, are produced annually. Others are produced on an as-needed basis. Questions regarding a particular report or publication should be directed to the department creating the report. All of the publications described below are available on this website.
Staff Reports 2011 | 2010 | 2009 | 2008 | 2007
City Council receive reports and recommendations, prepared by City staff, on the various topics being reviewed by the Council.
Staff reports are distributed to City Council on Thursday afternoons, prior to Regular Council Meetings which occur on the first and third Monday of each month. Staff reports are usually posted here on the Fridays prior to the Regular Meetings.

Bowie Spotlight
The Bowie Spotlight is published six times a year. It is a great
source of information about upcoming events, programs, parks, the Ice Arena,
the City Gymnasium, the museums in Bowie and the Senior Center. It also includes
a variety of informational articles for homeowners.
The newsletter is posted on this website. To sign up to receive notification when the new issue is available, register with Alert Bowie and select just Bowie Spotlight or as many of the categories as you wish. In addition to the electronic format, sufficient copies of the newsletter will be printed for distribution to the senior housing communities in the City, as well as to the Senior Center, City Hall, Kenhill Center, the City Gym and the Bowie Branch of the Prince George's County Public Library. In City election years, a special edition of the newsletter will be mailed to each household prior to the election. Did you know that there are over dozens of classes and programs offered at the Senior Center every month. This newsletter keeps seniors "in the know" with all that is happening at the Bowie Senior Center. A dedicated team of volunteers publish this newsletter every month.

The Bowie News Flash is a quick monthly summary of news and events in Bowie. This electronic publication is posted to the main page of this website and is emailed to those who have signed up to receive it.
