Subject: Replacement Windows at Public Works Administration Building R-77-08

Legal notices were placed and bid packages were sent to various firms for the supply and installation of replacement windows at the Public Works administration building. Bids were opened and publicly read on October 13, 2008. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

This work is being performed in accordance with the Capital Improvement Program for the Public Works Main Facility.

After a careful review of the bid proposals submitted, it was determined that The Window Connection of Eldersburg, Maryland, had submitted the most responsive, responsible bid in the amount of $11,419, which is within the budgeted amount of $12,300.

I concur with the above recommendation and request your approval of R-77-08.
