SUBJECT:     Electrical Upgrade at Pump Station #2
                        R-11-09

     DATE:       February 11, 2009

            Legal notices were placed and bid packages were sent to selected firms for an electrical upgrade at pump station #2.  At the close of bidding at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2009, nine (9) bid proposals had been received.  Below is a tabulation of the bid proposals:

This work is being performed in accordance with the Capital Improvement Program for the Wastewater Treatment Plant and is within the budgeted amount of $72,000.

            The Public Works Department recommends that the bid proposal from A/C Power, Inc., in the amount of $71,000, be accepted. 

            I concur with the above recommendation to award to A/C Power, Inc. in the amount of $71,000, and request your approval of R-11-09.
