            The City of Bowie on March 27, 2009 received twenty seven responses to the Request for Qualifications for a General Contractor for the New City Hall project and carefully reviewed each one.  The City selected the following short list of firms to submit a bid for the Project:

Forrester Construction Company
James G. Davis Construction, Corp.
Manekin Construction, LLC
Morgan-Keller, Inc.
Nardi Construction, Inc.
The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company

            The short list of firms will be sent an email with instructions on obtaining the bid documents.  Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2009. 

            If bids received from the short list of firms are not considered acceptable, the City reserves the right to rebid and invite additional firms from those who submitted Statements of Qualifications.

            The City of Bowie appreciates each firm that participated in this project and encourages each to participate in future City of Bowie Requests for Qualifications.
