Status Report

1. Economic Development Committee (EDC)
The EDC met Wednesday.  Outgoing Chairman Boyd Campbell handed the gavel to incoming Chairman Edward J. Leyden.  The Committee confirmed their meeting calendar through July 2011 -- they will meet at 7:30 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month (except August).  The May 2011 meeting will move from the second Wednesday to the date of the 2011 Business Awards Luncheon once that date is set.  Topics for each meeting were confirmed and topic leaders were selected to prepare each meeting.

The EDC will not meet in August but will resume regular meetings on September 8, 2010.
