Status Report

1.  BGE Reimbursement on Unpaid Tree Vouchers

Staff has been informed by BGE that there is no change in the BGE position regarding unclaimed vouchers.  According to BGE, those dollars are directed to other reliability projects benefiting BGE customers.  The Mayor and staff are scheduled to meet with BGE on Thursday, October 14th to review performance data earlier requested by City Council.  BGE proposes further discussion of the tree voucher issue at that meeting.  The performance information obtained at this meeting and a summary of any discussion items will be shared with City Council following the meeting. 

2.  Report from FAC and CRC on User Fees

Attached is the report issued by the Financial Advisory and Community Recreation Committees after their joint review of user fees charged at the City's recreational facilities.  The report endorses the 60% residency requirement and the current fee structures, including the annual review of fees during the budget process.

The committees requested that the report be forwarded to Council with this week's Status Report.  Neither committee indicated that they wished to make a presentation to Council.
