Overview of Cargo Trailer Parking in the City – City Staff will present an overview of the cargo trailer parking situation in the City (City Code - Chapter 26 - Sec. 26-9). (Community Services Department, ext. 3014)

Police Department Update - The Chief of Police will provide an update on the Department’s activities. (Discussion, ext. 2482)

Monday, June 9 – Town Hall Meeting – 7:30 p.m.

Town Hall Meeting will be held for District 2 residents at Bowie City Hall.

Urban Tree Canopy Analysis for Bowie - A representative of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) will brief the City Council on the status of a study of the City's existing tree canopy coverage and MDNR's approach to encouraging local governments to establish their own urban tree canopy goals. BGE Task Force Final Report – The chairman of the BGE Task Force will present a final report to the City Council pertaining to the progress of the BGE Task Force whose term was from May 7, 2007 to May 7, 2008. (City Manager’s Office, ext. 3075)

Maryland Route 197 Project Planning Study Update - Representatives of the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) will present their findings and analysis of public comments made at the February 13, 2008 SHA Location/Design public hearing and subsequent City Council hearing held on March 3, 2008. City Hall – The architect will present a status report of the new city hall project. (City Manager’s Office,
