SUBJECT: Budget Policy Guidance Meeting

DATE: November 22, 2006

Action Plan 11 of the City’s Strategic Plan states that the City Council should meet in November to establish budget priorities and guidelines. Once established, the priorities and guidelines will be conveyed to department heads as guidance in preparing the FY2008 proposed budget.

Staff will make a brief presentation (see attached) before Council’s discussion of budget priorities and guidelines.
