R E S O L U T I O N

OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOWIE, MARYLAND
ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REMOVAL OF STRUCTURES, VEHICLES AND
DEBRIS AT CHURCH ROAD PARK

WHEREAS, advertisements were placed in local newspapers and requests for bid proposals were sent to selected firms for the removal of structures, vehicles and debris at Church Road Park; and

WHEREAS, at the close of bidding at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2008, the City received seven (7) bid proposals; and

WHEREAS, after a careful review of the bid proposals submitted, it was determined that Aspen Landscape Contractors, Inc. had submitted the most responsible and responsive bid proposal of $16,800.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bowie, Maryland, that the Council hereby accepts the bid proposal of Aspen Landscape Contractors, Inc. for a total amount of $16,800 and hereby directs the City Manager to sign a contract with Aspen Landscape Contractors, Inc.
