Status Report

1. Major Tenant at MSTC/Melford

Lennar Home Builders has leased the entire fourth floor of One Melford Plaza. The lease is for 38,876 square feet. Lennar is a Florida based builder that is consolidating its regional operations in Bowie. Approximately 125 to 150 employees are involved. The July 3rd edition of the Prince George's Newsletter states: "The lease vindicates the Bowie city fathers, who have pushed St. John Properties and other developers to build up, not just out". Mr. Benitez told me yesterday that his firm is getting close to their trigger point for starting the twin to One Melford.
