Status Report

1. Economic Development Committee

The EDC held its regular monthly meeting October 11. Staff provided a visual tour of the City's website to help orient EDC members to the information available to them and the community. Additionally, the EDC discussed the items they would like to include on their work plan for this year. Top ideas they will further develop next month include a detailed examination of small business in Bowie and the support available to them, and ways to promote the City to our existing business base.

Councilman Lyles asked the EDC to look at and comment upon the results of the Transit System Enhancement Study.

The next EDC meeting is Wednesday, November 8th.
