Dennis Brady has B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University and a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.). Mr. Brady is married to Kathy and has been a resident of Bowie since 1987.

He was elected to the Bowie City Council in 1994 and re-elected in 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2005, and most recently in November 2007. Councilman Brady serves as Council Liaison to the Arts Committee, the Information Technology Committee, and the Diversity Committee.
