Bowiefest

Bowiefest,  a longstanding tradition, brings together the best of Bowie’s organizations, entertainers and businesses. At Bowiefest, visit the Ice Arena to see local business exhibits; you just might find one that offers a service you need, or walk around Allen Pond and visit the booths set up by local organizations. You might find one that you want to join or one that can help you find the information you seek.

Food vendors will be offering favorites including cotton candy, roast beef, barbecue, crab cakes, hot dogs, Italian sausages, funnel cakes and ice cream, just to name a few. 

In addition to delicious food, hand-made arts and crafts will also be on sale from area vendors. The crafters portion of the Bowiefest is sponsored by the Soroptimist International of Bowie and Crofton. Stop by and you may find the perfect gift for someone or treat yourself to one of the one-of-a kind wares featured at this event.

After you’ve finished shopping and eating, you can relax at one of two stages that will be showcase a number of talented local entertainers through out the day. So bring your chair and/or your blanket and enjoy!
