The Information Technology Department is responsible for providing information technology and communication to all departments within the city. The major activities of this department include:
  • Coordinating the use of computers and other information systems throughout the city
  • Developing security measures to protect the city's information systems
  • Providing ongoing user education
  • Keeping abreast of current technology as well as the information needs of the city
