Traffic Pattern Changes After Fireworks

Summary:

  • No left turns from northbound Crain Highway at intersections with Collington Road, Heritage Boulevard, and Harbour Way.
  • No left turn or access to Collington Road from Rips parking lot.

Changes for the east side of Crain Highway
  • Left turn and straight through traffic will be prohibited at the Crain Highway (Route 3) / Collington Road (Route 197) intersection. All traffic exiting the Rips parking lot, the Chick-Fil- A lot, and the Valvoline lot will be directed to exit by Rips at the Crain Highway/Collington Road intersection and will be required to go north.

  • No left turns will be permitted from Crain Highway north between Collington Road and Route 50. This includes the intersections at Collington Road, Heritage Boulevard (by Applebees), and Harbour Way (by Wendy’s).
  • To go south on Crain Highway, drivers will need to head north on Crain Highway  to the Belair Drive/Melford exit, then make a left turn at the light onto Belair Drive and take the exit on the right for southbound Crain Highway.
  • Left turns and straight through traffic will only be permitted at the Crain Highway/Ball Park Road intersection. This applies to vehicles exiting the Baysox parking lot, the BJs lot, and the Home Depot parking lot onto Ball Park Road.
