The City of Bowie Memorial Day Parade takes place every year on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.

The parade is the City's salute to all of our service men and women and the veterans who have served in the past. It is also a day to remember those who died in the protection of this nation

The 2016 parade will take place on Saturday, May 28th. This year it will be a celebration of Bowie's Centennial.

From marching bands, to community groups, to animals, there was something for everyone in the lineup of participants for the 2016 Memorial Day Parade!

This Year's Parade
Bowie's parade is a great way to honor our troops, show your civic pride, and showcase your organization. We hope you will start thinking now about participating and using this year Bowie Centennial Theme in the 2016 parade. It will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2016.
