Bowie's Hometown Parade
000 Grand Marshall cropped again.jpg
The City of Bowie Memorial Day Parade takes place every year on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. The parade is the City's salute to all of our service men and women and the veterans who have served in the past. It is also a day to remember those who died in the protection of this nation.

The 2015 parade took place on Saturday, May 23rd and by all accounts was a great success. The City of Bowie wishes to thank all of the enthusiastic community organizations who marched or performed in the parade and helped us to honor all those who work or have worked to serve and protect our nation.

From matching bands, to community groups, to animals, there was something for everyone in the lineup of participants for the 2015 Memorial Day Parade!

Thinking about Next Year's Parade?
Bowie's parade is a great way to honor our troops, show your civic pride, and showcase your organization. We hope you will start thinking now about participating in the 2016 parade. It will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2016.

The parade information provided below is for 2015 but gives you an idea of what is expected of participants. Look for updated information in early 2016.
