Bowie City Hall Art Gallery
April 2008 Exhibit
Clyde Peterson & Max Edgar

The April exhibit in the City Hall Art Gallery includes the work of two very talented artists. Clyde Peterson’s artwork includes a wide variety of acrylics, tempura and photographic images, while Max Edgar’s work is in watercolor, oils and watercolor lithograph. A wide range of subjects from scenes to people, realistic to abstract may be enjoyed in viewing this exhibit.

An internationally acclaimed photographer, Clyde Peterson has been creating photographs for 30 years. His photos, which show his passion for capturing character, poise and beauty, have earned him many awards. His work has been purchased and appreciated by presidents, celebrities and corporate leaders.

Max Edgar combines the styles of Classic Oil Painters, such as Monet, Van Gogh and Da Vinci, as these are his favorite artists. He “boldly portrays his mood, for serenity and beauty,” in his work. Some of his artwork has helped raise funds for charities world- wide, while other works hang in “modern commercial lobbies and private collections.”

The City of Bowie is pleased to provide local artists with an opportunity to display and sell their artwork in the City Hall Art Galleries.
