“First Heroes of the Turf” at the Belair Stable highlights the importance of African Americans as jockeys in Thoroughbred horse racing.

Belair Mansion (12207 Tulip Grove Drive) and Stable (2835 Belair Drive) Museums are open Tuesday through Sunday from Noon – 4:00 p.m. Admission is free. For further information, please call 301-809-3089, or email: museumevents@cityofbowie.org
