Legislative “Open Door”
An Opportunity for Community Members to Be Informed and to Present Concerns to Legislators

The Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Bowie Education Committee has scheduled the Annual Legislative “Open Door,” for Saturday, January 12th at Bowie City Hall. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for community members to hear about issues and bills that are being considered during the upcoming legislative session, and to discuss current concerns with the 23rd District Legislators and County Council Representative. Those attending will be given the opportunity to sign up to make a brief presentation about issues that they feel should be considered by their legislators and County Council Members.

Continental breakfast and welcome begins at 9 AM, in Conference Room #204, with a panel discussion at 9:30 in Council Chambers. There will be a sign up sheet available at the Continental breakfast, for those wishing to sign up to speak during the panel discussion.
