Bowie Police Officers Involved in Annapolis Road Shooting Identified

The Bowie Police Department has identified the three (3) Officers involved in the departmental shooting of a bank robbery suspect that occurred on Saturday, April 5, 2008.

Officer Ernest Stanley has been a member of the Bowie Police Department since April 2007. Officer Stanley has 4 years of police experience and was a member of the Washington Metro Transit Police Department just prior to joining the Bowie Police Department.

Officer Marvain Wall has been a member of the Bowie Police Department since October 2007. Officer Wall has 6 years of police experience and was a member of the Baltimore City School Police Department just prior to joining the Bowie Police Department.

Officer Jaime T. Anderson has been a member of the Bowie Police Department since February 2007. Officer Anderson has 3 years of police experience and was a member of the Seat Pleasant Police Department just prior to joining the Bowie Police Department.

The joint investigation, being conducted by the Bowie Police Department and the Prince George’s County Police Department, is ongoing. The Officers involved have been placed on administrative leave per departmental policy, pending the completion of this investigation.
