Young Person’s Art Gallery Exhibits Artwork of
Grace Christian School Students
During the Month of April
Student artwork from Grace Christian School is featured in the Young
Person’s Art Gallery during the month of April. A variety of
artwork and techniques is demonstrated in the work displayed. Art Teacher
Doris Anstead, coordinated the exhibit with the assistance of Brenda
Cashman who represented the school in preparing and hanging the exhibit.
The following students have their artwork hanging in the Young Person’s
Art Gallery for this exhibit:
The Young Person’s Art Gallery is a joint project of the City
of Bowie’s Arts and Education Committees. This gallery is located
in the entrance foyer at Bowie City Hall (2614 Kenhill Drive). During
the school year, artwork from a school located in Bowie is displayed
in the gallery. The Arts Committee Poster Contest winners are shown
in July. In August, the artwork of individual young artists who reside
in a Bowie community, or attend a school located in Bowie is exhibited.
Youth artists may submit their work by June 13th to be considered for
this exhibit.
The Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 10 PM,
and on Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, for your enjoyment. If you would
