Young Person’s Art Gallery Exhibits Artwork of
Tulip Grove Elementary Students During the Month of January

During the month of January, the Young Person’s Art Gallery features the artwork of Tulip Grove Elementary School students. At this school, the PTA’s art awareness program provides art enrichment activities for students based on famous pieces of artwork, including information about the artist, style or period represented, specific concepts and/or techniques used. Students then produce a related art project.
Located in the entrance foyer at Bowie City Hall, the Young Person’s Art Gallery is a joint project of the City of Bowie’s Arts and Education Committees.

Representatives of the PTA Arts Committee, Kim Alegrezza, Jill Kyle-Keith and Christine Anderson worked coordinating this exhibit, providing and hanging of student artwork in the Young Person’s Gallery. They are planning for a gallery exhibit reception, which will take place at City Hall on January 14th at 7 pm.
The Young Person’s Art Gallery is located at Bowie City Hall
2614 Kenhill Drive, Bowie, Maryland 20715 and is open Monday through
Friday from 8:30 AM until 10 PM, and on Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM,
