District 1 Interviews
Interviews for the District 1 Council vacancy will take place on Monday, January 24th beginning at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The public is invited to observe the interview process in person or on City Government Channel 71. SUBJECT: Interviews for District 1 Council Vacancy
Due to the illness of Councilmember
Jack Jenkins, the Bowie City Council has postponed the interviews for the
District 1 Council Vacancy until January 24, 2005. The resignation of Councilwoman
Valerie Bennett in late November created this vacancy. Those interviews were
originally scheduled for this week. It is hoped that Councilmember Jenkins
will have recovered and will be able to participate in the interviews.
