The City of Bowie is pleased to exhibit the artwork of Bowie artists in three galleries (plus one gallery for youth artwork) at City Hall. The Galleries give local artists the opportunity to have their artwork viewed by community members, and to sell it if they wish to do so.

The Conference Room Gallery displays the artwork of a number of local artists, who work in a variety of styles and mediums, in three Conference Rooms. Work hung in December will remain on exhibit until June, although artists displaying their work in this gallery are given the option for artwork to hang for six months to one year. The gallery currently displays a number of new pieces of artwork as well as a few that have remained on display.

The Arts Committee invites community members to stop by to enjoy the work of these very talented artists, right here in Bowie. City Hall is open from 8:30 AM to 10 PM on weekdays and 9 to 5 on Saturdays. Please be aware of the fact that you may be asked to view the exhibits at another time, if the rooms included in these galleries are occupied for meetings.
