The City of Bowie offers several newsletters summarizing general city news.
- The Bowie Spotlight is a monthly summary of news and events in Bowie
- The Bowie Brief is a weekly update, highlighting upcoming events and important topics for that week. The Brief may also include COVID updates, as needed.
- Key COVID metrics are tracked by Emergency Management staff and posted to this website each weekday.

Hispanic Heritage Month 2022
Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the history, culture, and contributions of American Citizens with roots from Spain, Mexico the Caribbean, Central and South America. National Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15 through October 15. The theme for this year is “Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation”.
