Overview

Fair Housing: It Is Your Right!

Equal access to rental housing and homeownership opportunities is a right for all. In 1968, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968. The Act, as amended, prohibit discrimination in housing because of religion, disability, gender (identification), national origin, race or color, or familial status.
