Free Workforce Training Program for Young Adults
Applications Accepted February 18 - March 22, 2019

The City of Bowie Office of Grant Development and Administration, in conjunction with Bowie Youth and Family Services, is offering residents a free Workforce Development and Life Skills Training Program for youth and young adults between the ages of 15 and 25. The program will provide free workforce readiness training, which will include a portion on life skills and another on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) career paths.  

Public Forums

Learn more about the program at a public forum at City Hall on March 14 at 7 p.m. (A previous forum was held on February 26).

Eligibility Requirements to Enroll in the Program:

  1. Must be a resident of the City of Bowie 
  2. Be between the ages of 15 to 25 
  3. Have a desire to enroll in a four-week Workforce Development Training for job readiness, meeting weekly at Bowie City Hall from April 15 - May 10
