Free Workforce Training Program for Young Adults

The City of Bowie Office of Grant Development and Administration, in conjunction with Bowie Youth and Family Services, offers residents a free Workforce Development and Life Skills Training Program for youth and young adults between the ages of 15 and 25. The program will provide free workforce readiness training, which will include a portion on life skills and another on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) career paths. The application period for the 2020 program is January 1, 2020 - February 21, 2020. Classes will take place in March and April 2020.

Entrepreneurship Webinar

The City of Bowie is offering an online course focused on entrepreneurship, understanding markets, and development solutions and business ideas. This course will be part of a series of live webinars starting Tuesday, April 28, 2020, which will also be recorded for viewers who are not able to watch the live presentation.
