How the Community Garden Works:
Who Can Reserve a Garden Plot?
- Plots are available to City of Bowie residents only.
- One plot per household
- Once all plots are allocated, additional applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
- Should all garden plots not be spoken for, current plot owners will have an opportunity to apply for a second plot, however only one of those plots will be available to rent the next growing year.
- If a gardener choses not to renew a plot for a growing year, that plot will be rented to another gardener. Should the person giving up the plot for a year choose to return at some point in the future, they will be assigned a different plot.
What are the Plot Sizes and Prices?
8 ft. x 8 ft. plot - $40
5 ft. x 8 ft. plot - $25
