More Resources for Working on Your Productions at Home

Home-Based Resources

If Skype is not a useful tool for your production, you may prefer to produce at home using field equipment or creating a narration-based production in a home editing environment.

Field equipment checkout processes will be forthcoming, but in the meantime if you are interested, you can start looking into your own editing resources.

Adobe Premiere

The software that the studio uses is Adobe Premiere Pro, which is the professional version. (It should not be confused with the consumer version, called Premiere Elements.*)

Premiere Pro can be purchased for $20.99/month. https://www.adobe.com/products/premiere.html

* You may find the Elements version to be a significant step backwards. For example, you will not be able to “scrub” by slowing the audio or listening frame by frame to find air-tight spaces between spoken words. That is a pretty basic need for narration-based production.

Training

Adobe Premiere training is available through Lynda.com. Your local library offers free access to Lynda.com. For more information: https://ww1.pgcmls.info/6223....
